Effective July 10, 2026

Terms of service.

These terms describe the Trial, recurring License, fixed Policy, and reasonable limits of a browser extension that operates on third-party Sites.

The service

RecommendLess applies a product-defined Policy that Blocks specified Surfaces and Keeps others. The Policy is not user-configurable. Supported Sites may change without notice, and we may update declarative Surface Definitions to restore intended behavior.

Trial and License

Starting a weekly or yearly subscription through Paddle creates one 14-day Trial. Paddle collects a payment method but charges nothing during the Trial; the displayed recurring price begins afterward unless you cancel first. A License key is a bearer credential: keep it private. You are responsible for activity performed with your key.

Billing and cancellation

Paddle is the merchant of record and processes payments, taxes, invoices, and refunds. Subscriptions renew at the interval shown at checkout until canceled. You may cancel through Paddle’s customer portal; access remains available through the paid period unless a refund or chargeback ends it sooner.

Acceptable use

Do not probe, bypass, resell, share publicly, or automate abuse of the Trial, License, update, or analytics services. Do not use the service in a way that interferes with other users or third-party Sites.

No guarantee about third-party Sites

Sites change independently. We work to repair broken Surface Definitions, but cannot promise uninterrupted compatibility or that every addictive Surface will always be detected. RecommendLess is not medical treatment or a substitute for professional care.

Operator, warranties, and liability

The service is operated by GrumpyOats FZ-LLC, registered in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without implied warranties. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for RecommendLess during the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws of Ras Al Khaimah; its competent courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live. Questions may be sent to [email protected].
